Port Orange, FL & Rochester, NY permanent makeup
Also known as micro pigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, permanent makeup is the art and science of implanting color under the skin, creating natural eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner, and full lip color.
It is one of the top beauty trends these days!
With our busy lifestyles, we can benefit from any time we can save each day. You can save countless hours in a single year that were formally spent struggling to draw on eyebrows evenly or eyeliner halfway straight.
It is not necessarily intended to replace cosmetics completely. Because the color is placed "in" and not "on" your skin, a more natural, softer look results. Most people won't even notice the change, they will just notice that you look better. With the use of topical anesthetics, the procedures can be applied with minimal discomfort. Plus, imagine the money you will save not buying expensive cosmetics that rub off, smear, smudge, and disappear during the day.
Women do it for many reasons:
The pigments used for are high quality colorants. While they have a long safety record and reactions are very rare, (less that .001%) there is no reliable test that a practitioner can give to determine the occurrence of an allergic reaction. The history of tattooing has shown the great majority of tattoos and permanent makeup procedures to be safe and free of adverse events.
Choosing a artist carefully is very important. Do not choose your artist based on price. What is most important is the reputation, experience, skill, knowledge, and training of the artist. Permanent makeup is a specialized practice requiring a astute eye for detail, fine motor skill, and manual dexterity. Also, knowledge of the art of facial symmetry, balance, and color are a must.
Permanent makeup, as we know it today, has been performed for approximately 20 years although it has gained more widespread popularity in this country over the past ten years. It has evolved into a refined art and technical skill requiring in-depth knowledge and training.

Lindi has been in the cosmetics industry for 28 years. Continuing education is her top priority, she is always seeking the best in technique, equipment and anesthetics. Lindi has been studying makeup artistry for the last 20 years, studying makeup and color extensively. The ultimate challenge to Lindi is applying her finest makeup application, under the skin, without discomfort.
She started in the beauty industry at a young age, as a nail technician, and a award winning nail artist. In New York City in 1999, she attended a nail art competition at a national beauty convention. She competed in a hand painted nail art competition and won first place. It was there that she discovered permanent makeup. She came back to her nail clients with her eyeliner tattooed on. It was her clients that urged her to get certified because of her extensive knowledge of color and super steady hand. The seed was planted, Lindi went immediately to study and receive her first certification in permanent makeup. Her first training method was with the rotary machine. Her second certification came 3 years later where she mastered the hand technique. The hand technique is a method that dates back to egyptian times, when no electricity was available. She uses the hand technique mostly, but some circumstances require the rotary tool.
In 2003, she went back to school and completed 600 hours of skin care training to become a esthetician. She completed that license to get a full understanding of skin to better improve her performance as a permanent makeup artist.
Since starting back in 1999 Lindi has performed over 10,000 procedures, and has two locations. She started in Rochester NY, and has over 4,000 clients. In 2009, she moved to Port Orange, Florida, seeking warmer weather, and built a clientele there. She travels to Rochester monthly to maintain and continue to build her portfolio.
